IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ Thin script fonts will be thickened to make the sign as sturdy as possible. Script fonts will be all joined as one piece, unless special instructions are given at time of ordering. Non script fonts will all be cut as separate letters only. The final size of your piece will depend on how many letters are in the name. Shorter names will reach the maximum height before reaching the maximum length. Longer names will reach the maximum length before they reach the maximum height.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

This product is not designed as a toy and may break with improper handling. The sign will break or crack if bent, dropped, or mishandled. Acrylic surfaces may also scratch if contacted by sharp objects.

Do not mount items above cots or beds. Keep out of reach of little hands.

Due to the nature of the production processes tiny imperfections may be present. This is a normal aspect of laser cut items however they are usually undetectable unless inspected up close.

WALL MOUNTING:

Please note, the following information is a suggestion only. I cannot accept responsibility for damage incurred if item falls from the wall as all wall types and situations vary.

Wall Preparation:

I have included a cardboard cut-out of your sign, which you may find handy to use as a guide for the pre-positioning your sign.

Clean your wall with isopropyl alcohol to ensure walls are dirt and dust free. Adhesives should only be applied to clean and dry walls.

My preferred method for hanging a variety of items is 3M velco picture hanging strips (a 2-piece system that allows for easier removal or repositioning).

If the strips are too wide for your sign, you may like to cut them into thinner and/or shorter pieces. Stick the mounting strips to as many points as possible.

Please note that once the strip is applied it may damage the film on the back of the mirror if removed. So be sure to position it correctly the first time.

When applying your acrylic name to the wall you may need to press firmly to affix to the wall but please be mindful that acrylic is fragile by design and may crack or break with too much pressure or rough handling – so the key is firm but gentle!

Important note: Many adhesives will not stick to freshly painted walls. Walls need approximately 30 days for paint to cure. Check paint can for manufacturer’s cure time.
